Why not just copy-paste
A converter that only looks right is the dangerous kind.
PDF tables are loose text. A split number, a wrapped description or a reference number drifting under the amount column produces a spreadsheet that looks fine and is wrong by $80 somewhere in row 214.
Statements carry their own proof: a running balance, or opening and closing totals. TallyRows re-adds each row against them. Rows covered by a passing check get a tick; a row that breaks the chain is flagged with the exact difference, and you can fix the cell in place and watch the check go green.
